My Story
Hi I'm Laura Rees!
You might know me as a Zumba or Pound instructor, but I've also been practicing yoga for almost 20 years. It is a huge piece of my mental health plan and literally keeps me sane. I've always wanted to teach and share yoga with others, so last year I finally did a yoga teacher training program, and have been teaching since June. I love how yoga is such an all-in-one activity: it builds lots of strength and mobility, reduces stress, regulates the nervous system, increases creativity and energy, and teaches so many life lessons. My classes always feature ways to make "advanced" poses accessible for "normal" bodies!
